VRT Radiiostations - Opgelost

Helemaal akkoord met Poezel !
Met dezelfde vraag naar de lokale electrozaak geweest en meteen ook nog een extra box erbij gekocht.
Een folietje van meer dan €800 !
En ik heb welgeteld een halve dag naar de vrt kunnen luisteren .

Om eerlijk te zijn, ik vind het een super service van Sonos om de dag zelf nog info te geven over wat er aan de hand is en om een workaround te geven die het probleem tijdelijk oplost. De workaround is voor sommigen mogelijk niet evident om uit te voeren maar het blijft wel een goede service.

Bij Samsung heb ik nog geen info gezien hierover trouwens

Hier onder de stappen die ik heb doorlopen om Studio Brussel toe te voegen via de PC app (op basis van de URL op pagina 1) en om de niet meer werkende te verwijderen uit mijn radio stations.

Situatie deze morgen met niet werkende Studio Brussel:

Kies in het menu Manage het item Add Radio Station...

Zet de Link uit het bericht van ChaosDM in Streaming URL en vul de naam in. Kies ok

Resultaat een werkende Studio Brussel

Om de niet werkende vervolgens te verwijderen kies je de niet werkende en het menu item Info & Options

Kies het eerste Item remove en bevestig daarna door te keizen voor Delete

Eind resultaat (normaal moet je deze procedure dus maar 1 maal doen voor je zenders... als de VRT de url's ten minste niet zonder verwittiging aanpast)

tnx, maar ik heb het enkel op mijn iphone: hoe doe je dat daar?

Heb zelf geen iPhone, enkel android devices naast PC, maar op het link eerder vermeld (post Eric_VandenBrandt) zie ik volgende:

"Het niet mogelijk om een internetradiostation handmatig aan Sonos toe te voegen met een mobiele controller, zoals een iPhone of Android-apparaat. Als een zender eenmaal aan Sonos is toegevoegd kun je elke Sonos-controller gebruiken om naar dit station te navigeren en het af te spelen."

Het kan dus niet zonder PC of Mac lijkt me. Er is ook al een bericht op de site van Radio 1:

Spijtig dat de Sonos software niet voorzien is voor Linux.
Als Linux gebruiker heb ik geen Win of Mac toestel om deze aanpassingen door te voeren!
Is er reeds een officiële vraag vanuit Sonos of Tunein naar VRT waarin bevestigd wordt dat men dit oplost?

Ben uiteraard ook blij dat er voorlopig een workaround is.

Globaal ben ik echter absoluut niet blij met de huidige evoluties.
Denk dat we allen samen op andere oplossingen dienen aan te dringen.
De meeste hier op forum kunnen vermoedelijk wel streaming toevoegen, niet iedereen kan dat echter.

Heb niet zo lang geleden problemen vtuner in combinatie met Sony meegemaakt. Die toestellen werden opeens ook compleet waardeloos voor internetradio toepassingen.
Probleem is dat er apps van externe partijen nodig zijn om op sonos, evenals op heos ED radio te laten horen.
Sonos, deon ed zouden m.i. ook meer eisen dienen stellen aan hun app leveranciers dat zij en wij niet zo in de tang kunnen genomen worden. Business modellen wijzigen en ik kan daar best begrip voor opbrengen. Eerst verkopen en dan consumenten zo gijzelen kan ik echter niet waarderen.

Het lijkt dat TuneIn geld heeft gevraagd aan VRT om opgenomen te blijven in de standaardlijst, VRT wil niet betalen voor iets wat ze gratis aanbieden. Tune in wenst de niet betalende zenders veel succes.
Wat als bij een volgende sonos tune in update niet meer mogelijk is om handmatig streams toe te voegen ? Waar staan we dan allemaal ?

Nu dienen we allemaal zelf manueel tijd in te steken om de streams op te nemen in onze lijsten en we dienen de correctheid op te volgen.
Reken eens al die tijd van ons allemaal samen uit.
Terwijl we allen betaald hebben voor een systeem waarbij dat normaal niet hoeft.
Zoals gezegd, ik ben blij dat er via de workaround nog iets mogelijk is.
Ik vind echter dat we luid dienen protesteren dat we niet pikken dat er zo met ons wordt gesold.

Bestaan er al andere social media kanalen waar we ons kunnen verzamelen aub ?

Kan sonos een andere free streaming app opnemen

Sonos, verzamel u met denon, Samsung en alle andere die tune in gebruiken, zoek een oplossing of een alternatief. Is ook in jullie belang, ik plaats sonos uitbreiding on hold.

Wat werkt er nog wel : VRT Radio 1 en RTBF Premiere, al het overige is uitgeschakeld. Een typische gangstertruc : bied de content gratis aan, en van zodra je incontournable bent, begint de chantage : betalen of buiten. Dank u wel Tunein !
Gelukkig kun je de zenders nog handmatig instellen : bedankt CDSYS voor de handleiding. Zelfs voor dummies als ik was dat een fluitje van een cent : :$

Also now works on SQUEEZEBOX type things (Receiver / Radio etc)

Simply in the favourites in Logitech media server (need to use web interface on computer) add following URL to favourites as is :

http://mp3.streampower.be/klara.aac

AAC stream works just fine

Note Logitech media server work on Linux too and you can stream that to various boxes - not only to Logitech stuff -- I'm running on Linux CENTOS 7.

PLEX might also work -- not actually tried yet

However to use the Logos get from the original TUNEIN data
Insert into an OPML file (Squeezebox / LMS systems).

VRT for example

I'm using Logitech Media server for streaming so the favourites are when you add favourite in the hardware -- I tried to paste the contents of the OPML file bit the site seems to reject it.

Is there any way on this site of attaching screen shots.

What are you using for your hardware as the "client" for streaming the media --Sonos or other equipment.

The website won't let me post the file or even the contents but basically in your favourites you need to add icon= and then the URL of the icon.

in Windows you can set up Squeezeplayer to test on a local PC

create a favourite that still works with a logo

Windows will play with LMS (Logitech media server) - download the server and start it up - with the link to Squeezeslave you can download the software squeezeplayer - simply start that up and connect to your LMS server that you downloaded. Use links in my previous post.

The software player allows you to replicate what the remote hardware does so an excellent way of testing. You can install the SERVER on Linux / Windows but the software player only really works on Windows (inc Windows 10) straight from install..

Now in the settings simply ADD favourite -- choose one that still works -- e.g Bayern Klassik or whatever

Now you can look in the favorite.OPML file that's created to see how the icon is built.

(now in a Bar with an Icelandic friend to watch Iceland Vs Croatia FIFA world Cup -- but good luck with the OPML -- will logon again tomorrow (Sunday)
