I recently bought the beam gen 2 for my tv (Philips 55pus7502 12). When I start Netflix app or hbo or Disney+, the app does not state 'dolby atmos' at the dolby atmos movies, but dolby digital plus.. I have the right subscription (4k). I can only set the output for the tv to dolby digital plus, but i read some where that when you have DD plus atmos must be an option?
Je TV is uit 2017? Doet die wel Atmos? Als de TV het niet kan, kan de Beam het ook niet…..
Hij is inderdaad verschenen in 2017,heb hem gekocht in 2018. De tv geeft dus inderdaad geen atmos aan, maar wel dolby digital plus. Heb ik een instelling ergens verkeerd staan die ik over het hoofd zie?
Het is in principe mogelijk om via DD+ Dolby Atmos door te geven. Als je TV echter niet weet wat Dolby Atmos is, zal hij het niet doorgeven aan je Beam.
Overigens: zelfs als je een TV hebt die wel iets met Atmos kan, kunnen de apps op die TV een belemmering zijn. Er zijn gevallen bekend waarbij de TV bij Netflix wel Atmos gaf, maar bij Disney niet. Maar goed: het lijkt erop dat jouw TV gewoon niet weet wat Atmos is.
