Hey folks

 

I have a sonos beam and set it yo as 5.1 using my two fives and sub. Great for surround sound when listening to TV and listening to music is good too.

 

However, in this set up the line in of the fives do not longer exist / work. Appearanrly lost if set up in surround set.

 

Now I see two options, but I do not like either. Any alternatives?

 

Option 1) beam and sub. As 3.1 set up. Fives as seperate speakers.

+ I have my jack back 

- I do not have surround sound

 

Option 2) beam, fives and sub. As 5.1 set up 

+ I have surround sound 

- I have lost my jack

 

Now obviously I d prefer Option 2 WITH jack.

Is there another way to add this to the beam? (I already use the HDMI for TV sound)? 

Or is there another way to use the jack s that are in the fives?

Je naam zal toch “Speeldoosje” zijn en dan toch in het Engels willen communiceren op een nederlandstalig forum. 

Het klopt dat de line-in niet werkt in surround. Dat komt omdat de Beam de hoofdspeaker is in de surround-opstelling. Aan jou de keuze wat je prefereert; surround of stereo-opstelling voor de fives. 

Had een Engelse mood of gewoon desperate..

 

Is er nog iets mogelijk met hdmi splitter bij de beam?

Ben bang dat de enige oplossing een Port van Sonos zal zijn of een extra speaker met line-ingang. Via groeperen kan je dan de surroundopstelling benaderen.

Minst duur is inderdaad een Era 100 met de adapter.

Hdmi splitter op de beam kan niet? Dat kost me nog geen 10 euro...

HDMI splitter met een line-in ingang? Welke heb je in je gedachten? 

De Beam verwacht een digitaal signaal via HDMI-ARC. Hoe wil je daar een analoge bron op aansluiten? Welke bron wil je overigens op je systeem aansluiten?
