Hi! 

I own a PLAY:1 TONE, the limited edition.

The paint is soft to the touch but unfortunately, after a few years it degrades and is becoming sticky, as it often happens with soft, silicon like materials.  

Dust sticks to it and it can’t be cleaned, it’s pretty  gross. 

It previously happenned with the power cables of my PLAY:5 (gen2), which Sonos replaced. 

This time they refused to replce it because it’s out of waranty. I’m a bit disapointed since the material choosen for the device which is naturally degrading, not a componant wearing out…

I don't think that there are many Tones in the wild, so the issue might have not came back to them. 

Do you know of any similar cases?
