Mesh Wifi

Hi,

 

Earlier this month, I have installed a TP-Link Mesh Network with 3 Deco M9’s. This is my main wifi I am using right now, but the SONOS-system is still attached to my old wifi router. I tried to reset all my SONOS-speakers (play 3 and 5) and connect them wirelessly but that didn’t work. So I have tried the method with a Ethernet cable. That didn’t work either, the app said: “There has occurred an error”. 
 

Now I am curious if it is even possible to connect SONOS S1-speakers to a mesh network. Does anyone know anything about this?

PS: I have an SONOS bridge which I don’t use anymore, could it be in handy?

Dit is het Nederlandstalige forum. Als je Sonos met mesh wilt gebruiken kun je het beste één van de speakers bedraad verbinden met de Hoofd-Deco. Nu je de speakers hebt gereset (waarom???) kun je daarvandaan een nieuw systeem opzetten en gebruik laten maken van je wifi. Sonos en mesh werkt niet altijd; gebruik maken van Sonosnet (via een Boost of een bedrade speaker - weer aan de Hoofd-Deco) is dan een optie.

Overigens: omdat je oude wifi het nog doet: staat de Deco in ap of router-modus? Als je oorspronkelijke router niet in bridge-modus staat, moet de Deco in ap-modus.
